Telstar coach Landvreugd thanks scoring El Kachati: “It made me silent”

“A euphoric atmosphere” was the first thing Telstar coach Ulrich Landvreugd saw in the dressing room after the 3-2 victory over Helmond Sport. The first game after the dismissal of Mike Snoei was won immediately by the White Lions and so there was discharge.

El Kachati and Ulrich Landvreugd were finally able to celebrate another victory for Telstar – NH Sport

“It made me silent. I wanted to feel what the atmosphere was like. We do it with all of them,” says Landvreugd after the victory. “Together with Anthony Correia and the entire staff. We are all working hard. We need everyone to achieve results. The most important thing for the team is that the audience supported it. Then you can run a little faster.”

“We sat together and said that we still had to go there full of food”

Telstar striker Youssef el Kachati

At Telstar, Youssef el Kachati was the celebrated man thanks to his two goals. “It was a turbulent week for all of us after the dismissal of Mike Snoei. We sat together and said that we still had to go for it. We have to make the best of it and I think you saw that today,” said El Kachati.

Telstar’s next match is on Friday, February 16. Then NAC Breda visits Velsen-Zuid.
