Ton Hendriks, the real estate man who broke Tim Hofman’s jaw in August 2017, continues to find the presenter’s working methods very ‘weird’. “The youth seem to like it.”
Tim Hofman has a confrontational way of working. For his program BOOS, he suddenly finds himself in front of everyone with a camera crew and that causes resentment. Things got completely out of hand in the summer of 2017 during an unexpected visit to the office of real estate millionaire Ton Hendriks.
What does Ton think?
The confrontation resulted in heavy blows and Tim ended up in hospital with a broken jaw. In the end he only had to pay a fine of 1,250 euros. “When sentencing, the judge takes into account the fact that the presenter and camera crew entered the office unexpectedly and uninvited,” NOS reported at the time.
Many years have now passed and in the context of the recent controversies surrounding the Hofman brothers – they wish celebrities dead and make extremely bad names about cancer – the Nieuwe Revu seemed a good time to contact Ton. What does he actually think of the three brothers?
Weird way
Ton maintains that he finds Tim’s way of working very disturbing. “I’m no longer involved with him at all. He was with us then, I think it was a strange way of doing things. But it seems to appeal to the youth. Those brothers try to score at all costs.”
Did he also experience what Tim’s brothers, Rijk and Sam, do? He tells to it magazine: “I don’t follow it and I’m never on the internet.”
Wet box
Nieuwe Revu also has an opinion. He hopes that no more Hofman brothers will appear. “We are not done yet with these three worm-shaped Hofman appendages: you also have sister Roos and youngest brother Moos.”
Are they just as vulgar? The magazine wouldn’t be surprised. “We are waiting for a podcast from those two, which will undoubtedly have a creative name like ‘Moos over Roos’ wet box’.”
