Jutta Leerdam has won the World Sprint Championship in Hamar. With one distance to go, 23-year-old Leerdam had to make up for 0.22 seconds on Femke Kok. At her favorite distance, the 1000 meters, she just passed Kok with a time of 1.14.96: 1.15.33. Austria’s Vanessa Herzog was third with 1.16.07.
