The daughter of Tommy Fränt and Saara Kovero is having fun today.

Yle news anchor Tommy Fräntin daughter is a high school student. Fränti, 52, says on his Instagram account that today his daughter has spent the holidays, which for a high school student means the start of the study break before the matriculation exams.
Fränti posted a touching update on his Instagram account dedicated to his late wife For Saara Kovero.
– There she goes, our daughter! Young and free and life ahead. Greetings somewhere Saara – I know you’re smiling, Fränti writes in his publication.

Saara Kovero died in March 2022 of brain cancer when she was 44 years old. Fränti told Kodi’s picture magazine in 2023 that Saara had hoped that they would continue their lives after death. Fränti and Kovero have two children.
Fränti was not looking for a new love in his life, on the contrary. However, life surprised him and now he is in a relationship I’m buzzing with.
– There are a lot of personal things involved. I’m just saying it was a miracle. I looked at Virpi and thought that now you came. I wasn’t afraid of anything anymore, Fränti told the newspaper.
Fränti received disapproving comments about his new love. Fränti has not regretted the comments, but he does not accept that his child would be dragged into the situation.
– I would have liked to tell them (the commenters) that grief can be of many kinds. Everyone grieves in their own way. Loving doesn’t mean you don’t still mourn and miss, Fränti says in an interview.
Fränti believes that Saara would be happy with his happiness and new love. He describes to Kodi’s photo magazine that he enjoys holiday trips, saunas and pizza nights with his daughter, son and Virpi these days.
