FC Bayern Munich has signed a third winter signing after Eric Dier and Sacha Boey. Spanish offensive player Bryan Zaragoza is coming from Granada FC earlier than planned.
Bryan Zaragoza is moving from FC Granada to FC Bayern with immediate effect – initially on loan until the end of the season. The offensive player was originally only supposed to come to Säbener Straße in the summer and receive a five-year contract. The Munich team announced the commitment at the beginning of December. The transfer fee for the 22-year-old is now expected to be around 17 million euros plus bonuses, around four million more than originally planned.
After the injury to Kingsley Coman, who will be out for a longer period of time, the current Bundesliga runner-up was forced to step up their attack in order to achieve their goals for the season.

“In football you always have to be flexible, and so we have reacted again due to the current situation,” said Bayern’s sports director Christoph Freund: “An agreement like this involves three parties, and we are glad that Bryan Zaragoza agreed earlier than actually agreed pushes us.”
The Spanish international is the third newcomer in this transfer period after Sacha Boey, who Bayern brought in from Galatasaray Istanbul for 30 million euros (plus five million in bonuses), and Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur/four million euros). Bayern have also signed Swedish junior international Jonah Kusi-Asare, although he is not initially scheduled for the Bundesliga team.
Zaragoza had already posted a picture of him signing the contract weeks ago that he was “happy and excited to start a new challenge in my life.” He is making “a dream” come true. FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund praised the Spaniard at the time as a “strong, very fast and extremely agile winger. He is unpredictable, a goal threat and very good in one-on-one situations.”
It is quite possible that Zaragoza will already be on Saturday (3.30 p.m./Radio report in the BR24Sport Livecenter) will be in the squad of the German football record champions against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Bundesliga rival RB Leipzig was also interested in the left winger as a successor to Swede Emil Forsberg, who moved to the sister club in New York in the winter.
Zaragoza, who is only 1.64 meters tall, made his debut for the Spanish national team in October and is considered the league’s fastest starter of the season. Zaragoza, who can also play in the center, has played 51 competitive games for Granada so far. He scored ten goals and three assists – five goals and two assists this season alone.
