Musician Arttu Wiskari, 39, completely changed his life two years ago. At that time, the artist was hospitalized due to influenza.
Wiskari recalls Help– magazine that they tried to go on stage in a fever, but they ended up driving home in the end. At home, however, the artist ended up calling an ambulance.
– My lungs were in such a mess that I couldn’t breathe. It was a really scary feeling, he told the magazine.

The doctor urged Wiskar to stop smoking. That ended 20 years of smoking. At the same time, he also stopped using alcohol, and Wiskari can’t remember the last time he drank.
– After the hospital trip, I got the feeling that I can’t be in such bad shape. I never say no to alcohol, but I had to rationalize things.
Wiskari has replaced drinking with frisbee golf, among other things. The hospital trip also made him think even more about his wife and their two children.
– Then you have to think about things from other people’s point of view, whether they want a gig dad who smells like booze at home or a dad who can play. Life is choices. Everything has to be tested, I’ve also tested partying and partying. It has been cool, but now its time is over, he states.
However, the change in life does not prevent Wiskar from running the licensed restaurant Wiskarila in Espoo. Kauppalehti reported in October 2023 that the restaurant had a bad result, as its turnover had decreased by 140,400 euros in 2022.
Wiskari recently commented on the topic for Iltalehti. According to him, it was a result during the corona pandemic.
– I don’t know any restaurant that has made a positive result during the corona period. After that, the restaurant has started to recover. It is still standing and the employees are still getting paid, the musician emphasized.
