Baldness was such a big deal for TV star Valto Harvistola that he ended up doing a hair transplant. A few years have passed since the operation, and in his opinion, the end result was not completely successful.

Valto went to the program as a reserved man with his partner, but returned home single. The breakup was discussed both on television and in social media discussion forums.
Later, however, a greater interest than the comedy program focused on the man’s hair. Valto had suffered from baldness, so he had a hair transplant in Turkey about a couple of years ago. It is a plastic surgery procedure in which hair grafts are planted on the head.

Valto, who currently lives in Tallinn, tells Iltalehti that the end result was not completely successful.
– It turned out that the hair was a little thinner on top than I had expected. This didn’t turn out exactly 100% as I wanted, so I’ve pulled the hair short, Valto inches.
The man thinks that the situation would have required a second and smaller operation in Turkey. At the same time, he states that the operation is not the cheapest. A couple of years ago, he estimated the price tag on social media to be around 3,500–5,250 euros.
– You should always be prepared for the fact that it won’t be perfect the first time.
Baldness is indeed something that Valto says he has had many conversations with people about. In Valto’s opinion, premature balding can be a big shock, especially for young men.
However, she is by no means disappointed with her hair. He is satisfied that his hairline could be corrected with the operation.
– Fortunately, the beard is growing, it looks so good, Valto laughs.

Dreaming of a family
After shooting the reality series, Valto had time to be single for a while, until their paths crossed Laura’s with. Many may remember the woman Big Brother – program, in which he competed in the fall of 2021.
The couple’s relationship started with harmless messages on Instagram.
– But when we went out for the first time, nothing happened for a couple of months. Then Laura wanted to see again, so things started to slip, Valto recalled to Iltalehte in the summer of 2021.
The two are still together, even though Laura lives in Helsinki. Valto admits that the dream would be to have a common destination and a family at some point.
– Of course, a long-distance relationship is not an ideal, but a necessity of the circumstances. Hopefully in the near future we will get under the same roof.

Sports are still close to both of their hearts. However, Valto has left competing behind and now focuses on training for his own pleasure. Valto has no great longing for reality TV shows.
– It was never a problem for me to be on the surface for a while. However, I myself enjoy more that I can live in peace.
Is there a TV show you’d be willing to go on?
– My friend and I have a plan. If The Amazing Race – program will be made into the next production season, so we will somehow try to get ourselves involved in it, Valto laughs.
