Johan Derksen has inside information about Princess Beatrix and draws the conclusion on that basis – on national television – that she is a ‘very nasty woman’. “You can kill her!”
Princess Beatrix has been queen of our country for exactly 33 years. She is loved by many people, but certainly not by Johan Derksen. “I never found her sympathetic. I can tell an anecdote: I had a security guard and before he protected me, he protected Beatrix and Juliana for years,” he says in Today Inside.
‘You can do something!’
What did that security guard reveal about Beatrix? “He says: ‘I was once standing with my family with the car already packed to go on holiday: the alarm sounded. We had to immediately go to Drakensteyn, to Beatrix, with sirens blaring. And then we got there and she wanted to go swimming for half an hour.’ He says: ‘Then you can kill her.’”
Her predecessor, Juliana, was much more sympathetic, this security guard told Johan. “He said: ‘Juliana was a sweetheart of a woman and always had a small present for all those security guards at Christmas.’”
Nasty woman
Wilfred Genee is shocked by that comment about the security guard ‘could kill’ Beatrix. “He didn’t do that, I take it?”
Johan: “No, of course. You have to be ready if there is an alarm, but that was a nasty woman to deal with and she has that appearance too. I remember that she once ordered a new government aircraft and she didn’t like the color of the new upholstery. Then the cladding had to be removed and demolished and she needed new cladding.”
Own information
Wilfred finds it strange how loose-lipped that ex-member of the royal household apparently is. “That also comes from that guard, doesn’t it?”
Johan: “No, no, I know this from my own information. Generally reliable source.”
