Club in contact with the DFL
FSV Mainz 05 may not be able to play their upcoming Bundesliga game against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday (3:30 p.m.). As the “zero fives” announced, a total of 19 members of the “fully immunized” licensed players area were infected with the corona virus. Players, coaches and other staff are affected. According to the club, those affected went into isolation.
The other players who tested negative are in individual training. It also says that the Bundesliga club is in close contact with the health department and the German Football League (DFL). Mainz are in ninth place after 24 match days.
