The federal government wants to reform the sickness pension for civil servants. Ministers Karine Lalieux (Pensions, PS), Frank Vandenbroucke (Social Affairs and Health, Vooruit) and Petra De Sutter (Public Enterprises, Green) announced this on Wednesday. Permanently appointed civil servants who drop out due to long-term illness will no longer be sent on medical pension.
