The favorite host writes openly about his lifestyle change.
The most beautiful home in Finland familiar from the program Hanna Sumari made a major lifestyle change last year. He has recently published a long account of his experiences blog post.
Sumari recalls how she felt bad in December 2022.
– I was tired, my body was somehow stiff and limp, my joints were stiff, I was swollen. I didn’t enjoy being there at all. I was in pain, going up stairs and walking uphill hurt, which was really strange, the presenter writes.

Sumari hired a nutritionist and a personal trainer to help. The host exercised regularly and took care of his eating rhythm. In less than half a year, there was a clear change in Sumari’s health.
– In five months, the weight had dropped by 12 kilos, the joints were not stiff, the energy increased and the feeling was not tight. It was wonderful! Pretty cool! Only the pain in my hind thighs and buttocks was permanent – a strange thing! Sumari sums up in his text.
He went to the doctor because of the pain.
– The cause was found and on November 28, 2023, I had hamstring surgery, where the tendons of both my hamstrings were repaired and reattached to the sit bones. Recovery meant 3-4 weeks of bed rest. A little bit of movement at home with the help of crutches, no sitting at all. And absolutely no training.

Sumari reveals that during her recovery her muscle mass has decreased somewhat. His weight has increased by two kilos and his fat percentage has also increased. The presenter admits that the Christmas treat backfired. His goal this spring is to regain muscle mass.
– I can’t pump them right away, but the rehabilitation has already started with small movements and the world’s shortest sets, writes Sumari.
