Cross-country skiing live: Tour de Ski Toblach (ITA) 10km classic (women) in the live ticker | 12/31/2023 12:15 p.m

First fragrance brand

At the intermediate time after 1.7 kilometers, Finnish Jasmi Joensuu was the first runner to stay under five minutes. However, we will still see some faster athletes today. Sofie Krehl is already 13 seconds away from the top.

The favorites

The two Americans Jessie Diggins and Rosie Brennan have a good chance of an overall victory on this tour. Diggins already won the event in 2021 and currently leads the overall ranking in the World Cup ahead of Sweden’s Emma Ribom. Their compatriots Linn Svahn and Ebba Andersson are also among the favorites.

Let’s go!

Anja Mandeljc from Slovenia is the first runner to set off and start the race. The first DSV athlete follows immediately, Sofie Krehl.

12:08

Fähndrich leads Switzerland

Nadine Fähndrich got off to a good start in the Tour de Ski 2023 in her flagship sprint discipline and earned a lot of bonus seconds in fourth place. She starts the race today with number 60. In addition to her, Nadja Kälin (3), Anja Weber (6), Giuliana Werro (47), Desiree Steiner (53), Lea Fischer (64) and Alina Meier (67) are also starting for Switzerland today.

Stadlober in good shape in time

Teresa Stadlober is once again a lone fighter in the Austrian team. The 30-year-old has been getting better and better lately and narrowly missed a podium finish in fourth place at the skiathlon in Trondheim. This year’s tour program with many demanding distance races suits Stadlober, who did not make it into the top 30 in the sprint. “I feel fit and am really looking forward to the tour. I really like and like this event and I can always motivate myself to do it,” said the Salzburg native.

11:54

Hennig not yet at 100%

Germany’s second top runner Katharina Hennig was unable to qualify for the top 30 in the spring. The Oberwiesenthaler traveled to Toblach after a corona infection with a lack of training and has not yet returned to top level. “We shouldn’t expect too much from her,” warned national coach Peter Schlickenrieder. In addition to Carl (start number 48), Rydzek (36) and Hennig (27), four other DSV women are taking part in today’s race: Sofie Krehl (2), Lisa Lohmann (8), Pia Fink (17) and Laura Gimmler (18).

11:48

Carl remains in good shape

After her sensational World Cup success in Trondheim, Victoria Carl also got off to a good start in Toblach and reached the semi-finals in the sprint. With her twelfth place, the 28-year-old was able to score a few bonus seconds for the overall ranking. Today, Carl is certainly rated as even stronger than in the sprint, especially since she was so outstanding over the ten kilometers in the classic last time in Trondheim. Coletta Rydzek even came in a strong seventh place in the jump, but today she probably won’t have as good a prospect as her teammate.

11:46

First distance race

After yesterday’s sprint start, today is the first distance race of this Tour de Ski over ten kilometers in the classic technique. It starts at 12:15 p.m.
