British actor Michael Caine, 90, may make a comeback in front of the cameras

Oscar-winning actor Michael Caine90, is possibly making a comeback in front of the cameras. The Sun -magazine, he has joined the cast of the new Netflix series. An insider told the newspaper about the matter, who pointed out that the details are kept strictly secret. The series will start filming next month.

Last October, Caine announced his retirement from acting. The Great Escaper Caine will still be seen in the lead role in the film, but he mentioned in October that he will hardly get any more leading roles in the future at the age of 90.

– The only roles I’m likely to get now are 90-year-old men. They won’t be the main parts. 90-year-olds don’t have the main roles, but young handsome boys and girls. So I thought I might as well retire, he said in October.

Caine’s acting career began already in the 1950s and has lasted more than 70 years. During his career, he managed to act in more than 160 films. The British actor won two supporting Oscars in his career, for films Hannah and sisters (1986) and The Cider House Rules (1999).

In addition, Caine is remembered among other things by Christopher Nolan directing Batman -films where he played Alfred Pennyworth.
