Serena Williams says that he has donated breast milk.
– I know so many amazing women who have adopted or are unable to produce milk. It felt great, Williams describes the pleasure generated by the donation.
In his update video, the tennis giant opens the freezer door, behind which a large amount of milk packed in small bags is revealed. He says they were left over from a trip to New York.
The gesture impressed the fans.
– Imagine that you are getting Serena Williams’ breast milk. Liquid gold is an understatement, one user gushed.
– I can only imagine what some athletes and bodybuilders would be willing to pay for that, another joked.
– Some child’s knuckle just got stronger.
Some, on the other hand, reminded in a more serious tone of the importance of the issue.
– My child was adopted and ended up with severe milk allergies, so we relied on donations. They were such a gift to us that I am always grateful for when I think about it.
– When my daughter was born, she couldn’t drink milk in any form for a few days. Donated breast milk was a big help at that time. Thanks a lot.
Williams, 42,’s second child, Adira, was born in August. The family already includes Olympia, who turned six this year.
Williams, who won 23 Grand Slam titles, ended her sports career at last year’s US Open.
