Strong performance from the Schanzer. FC Ingolstadt won 4-0 against SV Sandhausen on matchday 19 and once again demonstrated their strong form. SV Sandhausen had no chance.

FC Ingolstadt impressed against SV Sandhausen in the 3rd Bundesliga. The goalscorers Yannik Deichmann, Jannik Mause, Pascal Testroet and Felix Keidel swept the guests off the pitch with a 4-0 win. SV Sandhausen suffered its first league defeat under coach Jens Keller.

The first half of Sandhauser was still passable. Ingolstadt already showed signs of dominance in the first half, but they were messy with a few chances in the end. The teams went into the break 0-0.

Guests remained harmless

But what the Schanzer hinted at in the first half of the game, they did away with coldly in the second half: Yannik Deichmann made the start. The top scorer in the 3rd league, Jannik Mause, followed up, Pascal Testroet and Felix Keidel completed the goal quartet. The guests remained harmless and passive and were unable to keep up with the Ingolstadt team’s dynamism and high balls.

This means Ingolstadt overtakes Sandhausen and is in fourth place in the table with 31 points. Sandhausen falls to sixth place.
