The shoe supplier Gabor Shoes AG has appointed Sascha Negele as Board Member for Customer and Brand.
Negele will take up his new position on January 2nd and will be responsible for the sales, product and brand departments on the board, the company based in Rosenheim, Upper Bavaria, announced on Thursday. These areas have most recently been co-managed by the new CEO Stefan Blöchinger since Achim Gabor’s resignation.
Negele is an “experienced strategy consultant and sales professional,” said the shoe supplier. The business economist already knows his future employer: “As a partner at the management consultancy Hachmeister + Partner, he has also worked in an advisory capacity for Gabor since the beginning of 2023 and played a key role in developing a new growth strategy,” says a statement. During his career, Negele had previously worked for well-known retailers such as SportScheck.
With the new addition, Gabor is expanding its board of directors to three people. In addition to Negele, it consists of Stefan Blöchinger, who as CEO is also responsible for finance and administration, and Peter Bradler, who is responsible for production, purchasing and sourcing.
