At the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Housing and Spatial Planning, the Council of Ministers has decided to nominate him for appointment. The appointment takes effect on January 8, 2024.
Mr Beenakker (57 years old) is a member of the VVD. He is currently mayor of the municipality of Tiel.
Pauline Bouvy-Koene (VVD) is currently acting mayor of the municipality of Krimpenerwaard.
