In the market value update in the Austrian Bundesliga, both the biggest winners and the biggest losers come from the ranks of Red Bull Salzburg. The series champion, who is lagging behind his class of days gone by, has failed to impress either nationally or internationally this season. One bright spot, however, is Oscar Gloukh (19): The Israeli winter newcomer established himself in the “Bulls” offensive midfield and also performed well in the Champions League. For him it goes up from 10 million to 15 million euros.
Samson Baidoo (19), who took advantage of his opportunity in defense due to Salzburg’s personnel problems, was also upgraded. This was rewarded with his debut in the Austrian national team under Ralf Rangnick and now also with an increase of 5 million euros, like Gloukh, to 8 million euros. Roko Simic (20) completes the trio of top winners, and the center forward also recorded a €5 million increase to €10 million.
The red pencil, however, is placed on the two attackers Fernando (24) and Sekou Koita (24), who are unable to get going due to ongoing injuries. While the former falls from 10 million to 6 million euros, Koita falls from 7 million to 5.5 million euros. Fernando is the player who has the most significant loss. Bundesliga update: Sturm Graz’ Prass most valuable away from Red Bull Salzburg
Only Alexander Prass (22) from SK Sturm Graz breaks through this phalanx, who remains the most highly valued player apart from the league crösus. The winger was about to move to France to FC Lorient in the summer, but ultimately stayed with Sturm and recently signed a new working paper until 2026. Top scorer Karweina and top scorer Entrup on the rise
Meanwhile, Austria Klagenfurt’s Sinan Karweina (24), who is the league’s top scorer with eight goals and seven assists in 16 games, is on the rise. As a result, the valuation of the ex-Cologne and Duisburg resident more than doubles from 700,000 to 1.5 million euros.
Maximilian Entrup (26), the best goalscorer in the league together with Karweina, Salzburg’s Karim Konaté (19; remains at 15 million euros) and Austria’s Andreas Gruber (28; +0.3 to 1.5 million) recorded an even bigger increase. . The center forward, who came to Hartberg in the summer from amateur football, scored eight goals in the autumn despite a long injury break and was rewarded by Rangnick with his first appearance in the ÖFB team. For him it goes from 450,000 to 1.5 million euros – a new personal record. But it’s not just Entrup that is registering a significant increase in Hartberg, overall the squad value of the surprise fourth place climbs from 9.8 million to 13.1 million euros, which only Salzburg can beat.
