Lana Del Rey releases a unique take on the timeless John Denver classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”
The single, released on December 1st, is Del Rey’s second release following her ninth studio album DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE’S A TUNNEL UNDER OCEAN BLVD. The album was recently nominated for four Grammys.

Unsurprisingly, the singer introduces aspects of her signature sound in her rendition of the 1971 song. Above all, this includes a soulful approach to singing. Longing for loved ones and the feeling of home: Through Del Rey’s personal touch, the song represents a soundtrack for exactly this feeling.
