HERE IS THE REFEREE AND VAR STATEMENT
We have been watching with concern that the injustices in Turkish football have reached a point where they lack reason and understanding as of the last 10 years.
The process, which started with the President of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, Mr. Ali Koç, openly threatening the referees in his speech containing criminal elements, reached its end last night with the players of this club shouting and walking towards the referee, red cards not given against him and the penalty decision. Not being able to see a position that even those who know the simplest football rules would call a penalty, despite all the technology and experience, is very important in terms of showing what the purpose and plan is. It is not possible for TFF to get rid of this mess without disclosing all VAR records, especially yesterday’s controversial positions, in order to prevent social chaos and bring justice to Turkish football. The attitude of the Federation today will be decisive in terms of its intention for the future of Turkish football.
We know that we are fighting with a mentality that accepts injustice as its right and considers every means permissible to win. This mentality has only one purpose. To convince everyone that the oppressor will be right. These oppressors, who only want privilege for themselves, are of no use to Turkish football!
Today, we are calling out to our Fans. No matter what they do, we are all here together! We will act with common sense, being aware of those who try to draw us into an environment that tries to make brother fight against brother. We will do the same again! One by one, we will disappoint the immoral, the tyrants, and those who are cruel with the power of their money and relationships! We will again be the champions that everyone applauds.
