As a woman who lives in a country with winter cold, Rachel Hazes loves wearing coats, but she is also difficult when it comes to coats. She says this in an interview with Showbuzz.
The Netherlands has four seasons that clearly differ from each other. After summer, autumn starts and then it is always a bit colder. The coldest season is winter, when it often freezes and snows. Many people wear a jacket to protect themselves from the cold. What about Rachel Hazes? What does she wear in winter?
Difficult with coats
The Showbuzz, the winter edition of Party and Weekend, asks Rachel directly. “What kind of clothes do you prefer to wear in winter? Do you like thick sweaters and winter coats?”
Exciting. What will she answer? That she goes on the boulevard of Mijdrecht in the middle of winter in a bikini top? No. She goes for the safe option: a jacket. “I like jackets,” answers the professional widow. But, she warns: “I am also difficult with coats.”
Thick sweaters
How exactly is Rachel difficult with coats? She tells us that too. “They shouldn’t be too long for me, because I spend quite a lot of time in the car. When it’s really cold, I like to wear thick winter sweaters. I like to go with the seasons in terms of fashion and really dress accordingly when it is cold and bleak.”
Okay, so Rachel dresses warmly when it’s cold outside. What an interview. Has the Sonja Barend Award already been awarded this year or can we nominate someone else? Oh, it goes even further. “Now I have to say that I am also a cold person,” says Ras. “Of course I don’t have that much fat on my bones, I’m almost always cold.”
Wood stove
The cashier of the Hazes empire doesn’t have much fat on her bones? Ah, of course she means it literally. This calls for a profound follow-up question: “You say you get cold easily… Do you also have a fire going in the house? For example, a wood stove or a fireplace?”
Rachel: “Yes, I have a fireplace. I wear that regularly. And I actually always have candles on.”
Very nice. Shownieuws has already completed tonight’s opening item.
