Priest Padre Guilherme Peixoto transformed the church of Grimbergen into a Tomorrowland stage. The organizer of the party, IJD Youth Portal Flanders, invited the priest and DJ for World Youth Day to let pumping beats reverberate through the church building for an hour and a half. About 200 young people attended. The organization did not have to search long to find a location: “The priests of Grimbergen were very enthusiastic to receive us very quickly,” says Sofi Van Ussel, director of IJD Youth Portal. Padre Guilherme is not up to his task as a DJ. He has already played at an altar in Lisbon for one and a half million young people. According to him, dance music is the ideal connection between the Church and young people.
