The woman fell down several rows of seats and died from her serious injuries a few days later.
A 70-year-old woman died after a Robbie Williams concert in Sydney on November 16th. She apparently tried to climb over the seats and fell six rows down. She was immediately taken to the hospital and put into an induced coma, but ultimately doctors were unable to save her life.
The woman’s death was confirmed on Monday, November 20, by St Vincent’s Hospital, where she was being treated. Robbie Williams and tour promoter Frontier Touring have not yet issued a statement on the incident. Venues NSW, operator of the stadium, commented on the tragic incident and said it would work with NSW Police to provide further information.
The New South Wales Ambulance Service confirmedthat paramedics were called during the gig at 10:17 p.m. to treat the woman who had an accident. Despite receiving medical care at St. Vincent’s Hospital, she succumbed to severe injuries to her head and face. The exact circumstances of the incident are currently still being determined.
A young woman recently died shortly before a Taylor Swift concert. She suffered a heart attack, probably due to the extreme heat in Rio de Janeiro. Swift addressed the incident on Instagram, writing: “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but I’m heartbroken to say we lost a fan before my show tonight. I won’t be able to talk about it from the stage because I feel overwhelmed with grief if I even try to talk about it. “I would like to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends.” At her subsequent gig, she dedicated an emotional performance to the deceased.
