New main series games later this year

Good news for all Pokémon fans: As part of a presentation, Nintendo announced two new games in the main series, which was a very positive surprise.

When a Pokémon Presents presentation was announced a few days ago, numerous social media users were hoping for the announcement of an expansion for “Pokémon Legends: Arceus”.

Few fans dared to hope to be presented with entirely new games from the main series.

After all, it’s only been a month since the release of “Pokémon Legends: Arceus” and the enthusiasm of the masses undoubtedly makes it possible to draw a lot of money from the new part in the context of expansions.

Bomb bursts at the end of the presentation

However, an uncommented trailer for the end of Pokémon Presents revealed a previously unknown card.

A game world that appears to be open, new Pokémon and a setting that is probably set in the present are causing a lot of excitement on social media.

The new title, which is apparently divided into two different editions, will be called “Pokémon Scarlet” and “Pokémon Violet”.

With the two games, the developers Nintendo and Game Freak herald the ninth generation of the globally successful franchise.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are coming in 2022

New content for “Pokémon GO”, “Pokémon Masters EX”, “Pokémon Café Remix” and “Pokémon Unite” was previously announced.

Small updates will also appear for the Switch titles “Pokémon Brilliant Diamond” and “Pokémon Shining Pearl” as well as “Pokémon Legends: Arceus”.

Of course, the digital presentation was outshone with the announcement that new titles in the main series would be released, which are apparently located in an open game world.

By the way, the games are supposed to be released in 2022.
