According to the report, the fact that the scenario that the 27-year-old could leave the Swabians is quite realistic is mainly due to a manageable fixed transfer fee in the attacker from Guinea’s contract. For “only” 17.5 million euros, Guirassy can turn his back on the country before the end of his contract (until summer 2026). This sum does not represent a high hurdle, especially for the clubs from the English Premier League.
The newspaper believes that even a departure in the upcoming winter transfer period is “not unlikely”.
Fotis Ioannidis is currently being considered as a possible replacement in Stuttgart. The 23-year-old Greek is currently lacing up his shoes in his hometown at Panathinaikos (contract until summer 2027). In 20 games this season he has scored eight goals and prepared four goals.
