Radio personality Pertti Salovaara had a car accident at the intersection near Inkoo at the beginning of the week. Salovaara tells Iltalehte that there were two cars turning right in front of him.

– An old couple’s car was turning from the right onto the main road. My car was behind two turning cars and they didn’t see me.

– They started to cross the street and I hit the side. Both cars probably went to redemption.

Salovaara immediately adds that luckily worse damage was avoided and all parties involved in the accident are fine.

– It is the most important. Car safety technology is so awesome. Well built on the last one. Even if the bow goes in, nothing will happen to the driver.

Salovaara states that the deployed airbags were a protection in the crash.

– My wrist is a little tender and there is pain in the side caused by the seat belts.

Despite the unfortunate accident, the matter has been resolved in a good spirit. According to Salovaara, there was no ambiguity in the question of guilt, because the other party to the accident came directly in front of him from behind the triangle.

Salovaara regrets that the car he was driving was being transported from a car dealership to a customer. The crash happened ten minutes before arriving.

– It’s a pity that the long-awaited car was then scrapped. But, as they say, damage doesn’t come with a watch.

– After this, I take the intersections really carefully, really carefully, so that nothing like that happens again. Above all, the fact that an accident can happen at any time and to anyone, Salovaara updates.

He also reminds others in traffic to be especially careful.

– The only medicine to prevent an accident is to be sharper.
