Patrik Laine returned to the NHL bowls after his injury effectively.

Laine scored a nice goal with a wrist shot, but his team, the Columbus Blue Jackets, still lost to the Detroit Red Wings 4–5.

The Finnish striker’s hit came in 51:30 and was the last of the match. Columbus couldn’t get the needed fifth goal.

Sportsnet commentators admired Laine’s fiery itch.

– What a shot! Upstairs.

– Oh boys. Look how the puck comes off the stage.

The hit was also Laine’s 200th in the NHL. He needed 467 matches to reach the limit. This season’s performance in five games is 2+1.

Laine was injured three weeks ago when the Swede of the Calgary Flames Rasmus Andersson elbowed him rudely in the head.

The two will meet on the rink next time only in January, but the Finnish star has already marked the match on his calendar.

– Let’s just say I’m looking forward to playing against him, Laine said to the Blue Jackets reporter Jeff Svobodan by on Friday.
