The first single “The Last Metalhead” with Rodrigo González is already out – including a music video.

Grillmaster Flash has brought two of three Die-Ärzte members on board for his new album FLÆSH MËTAL. Today (November 10th) the first single from the record, on which Rodrigo González played, is released.

The track “The Last Metalhead” lasts six and a half minutes, on which the punk rocker takes on lead guitar. The accompanying music video tells the story of a blacksmith who goes in search of the coveted element “metal”.

The song is one of the ten tracks on the album. González’s bandmate Bela B. is also featured on the German-language heavy metal album and lends his voice to the Cindy & Bert Black Sabbath mashup “The Hound of Baskerville”.

So far, Grillmaster Flash has stayed more in the rock and punk genre and showed off his clever singer-songwriter side. However, he dedicates his new album, which will be released on March 1st, 2024, to metal – a style of music that has apparently stuck with him since his childhood. For the record, the Bremen artist not only gets support from the two Die-Ärzte members, but also from Markus Kavka and Sascha Madsen.
