Atalanta and Inter faced each other in the 11th week of the Italian Serie A.
The guest team, Inter, won a penalty in the 40th minute. Hakan Çalhanoğlu turned the shot into a goal and put his team ahead 1-0.
Closing the first half with a 1-0 lead, Inter doubled the difference with Lautaro Martinez in the 57th minute of the second half. Atalanta reduced the difference to one with Gianluca Scamacca in the 61st minute.
As there was no other goal in the remaining minutes, Inter won the match 2-1 and continued its leadership by increasing its points to 28. Atalanta remained at 19 points.
