Growing doubts about competence

Schalke 04 is in third-to-last place in the 2nd Bundesliga after ten games. Among others, Ron Schallenberg, Timo Baumgartl and Paul Seguin were signed, all of whom were redlined in the latest market value update for the 2nd Bundesliga. There were seven downgrades in total. One of the few bright spots in the squad, however, is 17-year-old Assan Ouédraogo, who, after an increase of a whopping 5.5 million to 6 million euros, is now, together with Ludovit Reis from Hamburger SV, the most valuable footballer in the German lower house of football.
