The textile technology group HeiQ Plc has introduced a new person responsible for the Chinese market. On Tuesday, the company announced the appointment of Robert Liu as general manager of HeiQ China. In this role, he is now responsible for all of HeiQ’s business activities in a “key market,” according to a statement. Liu succeeded Celine Huang, who had led the China business since 2019.
According to his new employer, Liu has many years of experience in the textile and paper chemical industries. Over the course of his career, he has held management positions at various companies in Asia and Switzerland. Among other things, as Head of Archroma Chemicals (China), he managed the China business of the Swiss specialty chemicals group Archroma.
