FC Bayern Munich has to be patient with Jamal Musiala’s personnel. Musiala currently earns around 8 million euros a year in his contract, which is valid until June 2026. He has been receiving this salary since March 2021, when he signed his first major working paper shortly after his breakthrough. The most valuable player in the squad is still a long way away from the top earners in Munich – Harry Kane earns around 25 million euros, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller a little more than 20 million euros.
FC Bayern’s top earners: Three times over 20 million per season
The then sports director Hasan Salihamidzic is said to have had a conversation with Musiala in April and promised him a significant increase in salary. However, negotiations are currently on hold. According to the report, the young international complains about his role at Säbener Straße, where he only came off the bench in three of nine games this season. With the wait-and-see attitude towards signing, Musiala – “Sport Bild” suspects – wants to put pressure on the coaching team around Thomas Tuchel.
However, given that the contract is still valid for two and a half years, Bayern are in no hurry.
