TFF Arbitration Board reduced the 2-match suspension of Eyüpspor’s Caner Erkin, who received a direct red card in the away match against Sakaryaspor in the 7th week of the 1st League, to 1 match.
In the statement made by the Arbitration Board, “The objection regarding the ban of Caner Erkin from 2 official competitions given in accordance with Article 43 of the FDT due to his serious foul against the opponent team player was not deemed appropriate in terms of fact and legal qualification, but in terms of the proportionality of the action and the penalty imposed, the FDT It was unanimously decided to correct the PFDK decision in the form of a ban from 1 official competition, with the opinion that a 1/2 reduction should be made in accordance with Article 13 of the Constitution.
