The 7th week of the UEFA 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) Qualifiers started with the matches played.
In the qualifiers of the tournament to be hosted by Germany between 14 June and 14 July 2024, 8 matches were played on the first day of the 7th week.
The National Football Team was away to Croatia in its sixth match in Group D. The crescent-star team defeated its opponent 1-0 with the goal scored by Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 30th minute.
In the other match of the group, Latvia achieved its first victory by beating Armenia 2-0 at home.
Janis Ikaunieks and Daniels Balodis scored the goals that brought victory to Latvia, which was reduced to 10 men in the 52nd minute after Marcis Oss received a red card.
With this result, Armenia remains with 7 points, while Latvia is in the last place with 3 points.
