Jarju played the ball past an opponent and then gracefully turned around his axis away from his guard. With a convincing shot he promoted his beautiful action into a goal.
Jarju’s wonderful goal in the 89th minute did not help Cholet. It was the tying goal (3-2) against Versailles, but Cholet did not get any further.
Jarju’s finishing is the biggest difference compared to Bergkamp’s goal. After his piece of ‘football ballet’, the Dutchman placed the ball with the inside of his foot past the keeper in the far corner.
Bergkamp’s masterpiece, who played for Arsenal for eleven seasons between 1995 and 2006, is still seen by many as the most beautiful goal ever in the Premier League. Judge yourself.
