More than 1,000 competitors from across the country competed in the annual young entrepreneur competition, including 19 finalists from other provinces with notable business achievements. Among them, Mariano Scalco, CEO of Tutiendahora and winner of the 2022 Mendocino Young Entrepreneur Award, stood out for his outstanding performance and his ability to inspire other entrepreneurs.
Despite not taking first place in the national competition, Mariano Scalco left an indelible mark on the event thanks to his innovative approach and ability to creatively address business challenges. His participation not only focused on the pursuit of individual success, but also contributed to enriching the experience of all of his fellow competitors.
Scalco expressed its gratitude to its team, family and collaborators, recognizing them as a fundamental part of its business journey. His example showed that teamwork and collaboration are crucial elements in the business world.
One of the most notable moments of the competition was Mariano Scalco’s gesture when he presented the winner of the 2023 Young Argentine Entrepreneur Award, Axel Córdoba from Río Negro, with a reserve bottle of 2020 red wine made in the department of Tupungato, Mendoza. This gesture not only highlighted business camaraderie but also underlined the importance of supporting each other in the competitive world of business.
This achievement does not mark the end of Mariano Scalco’s business history, but rather the beginning of an exciting new chapter. He is determined to continue working hard, innovating and contributing to the economic development of Mendoza and Argentina.
