The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, a former heavyweight boxer Vitaly Klitshko, has issued a statement after Russia invaded Ukraine.
Mayor Klitshko warns Ukrainians to prepare for the worst.
– Dear Kievans! Ukraine has been attacked. The milling of missiles has also been heard in Kiev. Panic is now the worst enemy. Let us not lose faith.
In his statement, Klitshko urges people to stay in their homes and assemble an emergency bag containing the necessary documents and essentials.
