A signing ceremony is being held in Galatasaray for the new sponsorship agreement.
Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made statements at the signing ceremony at RAMS Park Stadium.
The highlights of Dursun Özbek’s statements are as follows:
“39 MILLION EURO BUDGET”
In order to play in the Champions League and be successful, we have to determine the team we will form well and choose the players we will play well. We have to adjust our budget accordingly. Erden Timur announced at the Divan, the salary budget of the teams in the top 16 is around 200-250 million euros. The salary budget of those playing in the quarter finals is around 300 million. Galatasaray will compete on this field this year with a net budget of 39 million euros.
“WE ARE READY FOR COPENHAGEN”
We believe that everyone is sure that Galatasaray will compete successfully at this level, not only with its budget but also with the spirit of being a Galatasaray fan. The rough construction of our Metin Oktay Facilities in Kemerburgaz has been completed. We held the Council Board meeting there the other day. It is a very large facility with a closed area of approximately 14,500 m2. We want to move the campus in Florya here towards the end of the year or a little later. We are going through an extremely fast construction phase. We ask for support from all sponsors in this sense.

It will be a project that will affect Galatasaray’s 25 years. We will ask for the necessary support from our sponsors in our project in Florya, and we will also ask for it in Kemerburgaz. I don’t think today’s sponsorship will be limited to the advertisement in the shorts. We will sit down and discuss what kind of support they will provide.

I don’t want to ignore something. Galatasaray is a very important brand of Turkey, a very large non-governmental organization. Sponsorships are from every sector. The favor of Galatasaray’s fans is already evident in the inscriptions on the jersey. Therefore, we are not a club affiliated with a single institution or person.

Okan Hoca is a person with a history full of success, having been trained in Galatasaray since the age of 11-12. We invited him last year when it came to management.
