The Bültel Group, which includes the three brands Camel Active (menswear and womenswear), Calamar and Hattric, is expanding its management. In addition to CEO Thorsten Suska, Peter Hoever will also strengthen the fashion retailer’s management as co-CEO from October 2023. Hoever started his career in fashion retail and has worked for the Swedish fashion company Gant for the last twelve years. Most recently as Managing Director Central Europe.
According to CEO Suska, the expansion of management is related to the group’s further growth and development plans. Hoever will be responsible for brand, product, sales and marketing at group level. Filling this co-CEO position is “a logical and important step to continue on the successful path we have chosen and to take the three brands of the Bültel Group to the next level,” says the press release. “The dynamic situation in the fashion industry currently offers many opportunities. Peter brings the right expertise and spirit so that we can now take the next step in growth as a group,” says CEO Thorsten Suska.
With the three brands Camel Active, Calamar and Hattric, the group was able to achieve growth of over 40 percent to 144 million in annual sales in 2022. Last year was the year with the highest sales in the company’s history. The majority of sales come from the Camel Active brand, which continues to develop positively this year and for which an extensive marketing budget will also be available next year.
With the initiatives already underway and the planned future investments, the Bültel Group also expects significant growth in the coming years. The next target is set at 200 million euros, it is said.
