After the hot late summer days, temperatures drop slightly in the middle of the week in Germany.
“The question now arises as to whether this cooling is the start of autumn,” said meteorologist Christian Herold from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach on Wednesday. “The answer is: Not at first, because the cooling is only temporary.”
According to the DWD, it will be cloudy on Thursday, partly rainy with isolated thunderstorms in the Alps. In the north it is expected to remain dry, otherwise often sunny with light clouds. The maximum values are between 18 degrees on the coasts and on the edge of the Alps and 25 degrees on the Upper Rhine.
On Friday night the sky will clear up more and more. The temperatures drop to 11 to 5 degrees. It will be warmer again during the day, the meteorologists are predicting sunny weather with up to 27 degrees.
