Record players in the squad
This article appeared on Transfermarkt in its first version on September 9th. at 6:10 p.m. and was updated after the fix report.
In the summer of 2011, Roberto Pereyra (31) came to Udinese Calcio in Italy from River Plate in Argentina. Four years later, the midfielder’s move to Juventus became one of the ten most expensive sales in the club’s history. After a spell at Watford and his return to Udine in 2020, Pereyra left the Friulani again this summer. Now there is another comeback.
Pereyra re-signed with the Serie A club on Monday. The new working paper is valid until June 30, 2024. There will be more to come in addition to the 200 appearances that the Argentine has made for Udinese so far. Nobody in the current squad currently has a comparable value; in the ranking of players with the most Serie A appearances for Udinese, twelve players are ahead of Pereyra.
