The police are looking for a man suspected of kidnapping, violent theft and extortion in Landsmeer. The police reported this in a press release.
In the evening and night of Monday 5 to Tuesday 6 June, a 24-year-old man from Amsterdam was held and beaten by two men in a house on the Dorpstraat in Landsmeer. The victim had to hand over his debit card and PIN code, which was used to make several debit card payments in Amsterdam later that night.

The police have already arrested one suspect. This is a 21-year-old woman from Landsmeer. Her involvement is currently under investigation. Nothing is known about the second male suspect.
