A National Football Team started preparations for the match to be played against Armenia in Eskişehir on Friday, September 8, in Group D of UEFA 2024 European Championship Qualifiers.
The first 15 minutes of the training under the management of coach Stefan Kuntz at Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities were open to the press.
16 players from the 24-person candidate squad took part in the training.
Stefan Kuntz had a short talk with Çağlar Söyüncü, who transferred to Atletico Madrid, and Altay Bayındır, who transferred to Manchester United, before training.
After the training started, Kuntz met with Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Board Member and National Team Manager Hamit Altıntop at the side of the field.
SALİH UÇAN AND CENK ÖZKACAR WORK SEPARATELY
Salih Uçan and Cenk Özkacar, who have minor injuries in the A National Football Team, did a separate run from the team.
Salih and Cenk left the field after a while. Umut Nayir, who was rested as a precautionary measure, did not work with the team. Umut, who came to the field for training, then returned to the facilities.
The training, which started with warm-up exercises, continued with station and pass practice. In the closed part of the training, it was stated that the tactical study of the Armenia match was carried out.
The crescent-star team will continue the preparations for the Armenia match with double training tomorrow.
