Youp van ‘t Hek thinks that the Hart van Nederland team that managed to chat in with Pieter Omtzigt’s elderly mother should be fired. “What a school newspaper sneaker.”
She actually said no, but the Hart van Nederland team still managed to convince her: the elderly mother of Pieter Omtzigt. And the politician, who has started his own political party, was furious about that. It has since been discussed between the two parties, but according to Humberto Tan it is a shame anyway.
School newspaper sneaks
Youp van ‘t Hek is now pleading in his NRC column for the dismissal of this Hart van Nederland team. “The absolute low point of this week was the journalistic heavyweights of Hart van Nederland who, with the camera running, invaded Omtzigt’s mother, who is no longer so bright. What a school newspaper sneaker.”
What should be done with it? “John de Mol must dismiss those gajes immediately. Or even worse: he has to get them to put Peter Gillis’ books in order. Including tax returns. Then he will lose them for ten years.”
Future Prime Minister
Omtzigt’s new party is currently at the top of the polls. ‘Our future prime minister and messiah’, Youp jokingly calls him. “Will Saint Peter Omtzigt make it? Or will Timmermans become the boss of our country?”
Many people think he is a vain, Youp notes. He returned to this after his presentation at GroenLinks-PvdA. “Frans was wrapped in a jacket and jeans that still looked great on him forty kilos ago. He showed with this daring clothing combination that he is very good at cutting costs.”
