The retail group Douglas Group announced on Friday that Chief Assortment and Purchasing Officer Isabell Hendrichs would be leaving. Hendrichs is leaving the company “by mutual consent,” according to a statement. The group thanks her “for her commitment and the excellent results for the company”.
Hendrichs joined Douglas in 2019 and assumed her current post in early October 2021. “In addition, she was Managing Director of the Douglas International Purchasing division and responsible for operational purchasing in the DACH region,” explained the retailer.
From September 1st, CEO Sander van der Laan will “take over the management of the assortment and purchasing activities for the group until further notice”, the company announced. However, work is already underway to fill the key position: “We are currently looking intensively at international level to fill the position of Chief Assortment and Purchasing Officer,” explained van der Laan in a statement. “Since our product range is at the heart of our value proposition to our customers and is crucial to our future success, we are very diligent in finding the right profile and expertise for this position.”
