THE “peace negotiations” between Harry and his father Carlo have been cancelled. They were supposed to take place at Buckingham Palace in September, taking advantage of the prince’s presence in London (without Meghan). In fact, Harry will arrive in the British capital the day before the anniversary of his grandmother’s disappearance, to participate in a charity event, but he will not meet any Royal relatives. And his presence is not required at the dinner in honor of Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth’s anniversary will be celebrated on the sly
Buckingham Palace had been announcing for months King Charles’s decision not to authorize any public events for the commemoration of the queen mother. However, on her anniversary, 8 September, her children and grandchildren – except Harry – will all gather at Windsor Castle to remember the Queen, who died at Balmoral a year ago at the age of 96.
Another hit and run from Harry
The prince will stop in London on September 7, to attend the WellChild Awards, prizes organized by a charity dedicated to childhood and very dear to him. The next day, the queen’s anniversary date, he could stay in London but, snubbed by his family, he seems to have decided to continue instead immediately to Düsseldorf for the inauguration, on 9 September, of the Invictus Gamesgames for war veterans founded by himself.

Queen Elizabeth “eclipsed” by Harry
Rumors leaked from the court according to which the Royals would be worried: with Harry in London, it is possible that the media will end up talking only about him, forgetting the beloved queen a year after his death. And also for this they will keep away from the inconvenient prince, whom no one trusts by now (starting with his brother William). But father Carlo has the excuse: he doesn’t have time because, the day after Elizabeth’s commemoration, he will leave with Queen Camilla for an official visit to France.
Why Meghan Markle won’t be in London with Harry
The Duchess of Sussex certainly wants to avoid embarrassing encounters and has decided to avoid the English stage, staying a few more days in California and joining her husband directly in Germany, for the games, where she will be the protagonist of various events. A sign, according to the British royal watchers, that Markle no longer has any intention of returning to court. Not even to remember Queen Elizabeth.
