Pushilin called Russia’s decision to recognize the DPR and LPR unexpected for Ukraine

Due to Russia’s recognition of the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, hysteria broke out in Kiev, it was an unexpected decision for the Ukrainian authorities, said the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin on the air of the YouTube channel “Soloviev LIVE”.

“They have [на Украине], yes, hysteria, yes, this is a rather unexpected decision both for the Kiev regime itself and for those who stand behind it. We saw these throwing,” he said.

Pushilin added that Kiev and the West did not expect such a move from Russia.
