Evoked Vila, the plus-size line from best-selling brand Vila, opened its first physical store in the Danish town of Randers on August 10. Two more Evoked Vila stores will open in the near future in the home country of the fashion group, Bestseller announced on Thursday.
The plus-size line launched in 2022 is aimed at women with European clothing sizes 44 to 56 and, according to the Bestseller Group, is active in 15 markets online and with retail partners.
The long-term expansion into brick-and-mortar retail in Europe is not limited to Denmark, as this is also to be promoted with shop-in-shop areas. The Bestseller Group announced on Monday that a “larger trading partner” in Germany was already in the process of rolling out a corresponding program.
Another store opening will follow in Kolding, Denmark, at the end of August and in the city of Odense at the beginning of September.
