BEIJING – Jeroen Otter can safely be called the architect of the great short track successes since his appointment in 2010. Three Olympic Games in a row have won medals, to see his life’s work fulfilled in Beijing with relay gold for the women. The phenomenal Suzanne Schulting was also good for another gold medal, as well as silver and bronze. The national coach is happy in a Chinese winter sun, although his future is still uncertain. “I have to think about it quietly, but everything is finite.”
