Former top basketball player Lamar Odom, 42, and reality TV star Khloé Kardashian, 37, got married in 2009 after just one month of dating. In 2013, Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband for the first time. After a long and complicated divorce process, the formal divorce took effect in December 2017.
Last Monday, Odom publicly apologized for her failed marriage on the Celebrity Big Brother television show. The former Los Angeles Lakers star spoke openly about his romance with the reality TV star.
– The wedding was big and spectacular and it was televised. That was a big deal. I had a beautiful wife and I was like a brave prince myself, he recalled.
Odom said his intention was never to hurt his ex-wife, but his mind and thoughts were not in the right place. After listening to what tone Odom was talking about about his ex-wife, one of the presenters concluded that it was apparently the love of a man’s life.
– Yes, he was the love of my life. I didn’t treat that wonderful woman right. I didn’t take care of myself and I was immature. I will never get married again.
Odom would like to take his ex-wife to dinner.
– It would be a blessing to just enjoy his presence. I would like to tell him that I am sorry and I was a fool. Just saying his name will brighten up my day. I can’t but wish him all the best, the remorseful man pondered.
At the same time, he said he understood if his ex-wife would never want to see him again because of what had happened.
– Time goes on and people change, he added.
Lamar also said that sometimes she has a hard time sleeping at night when she thinks about her ex-wife. Lamar Odom betrayed Khloé Kardashian many times during the couple’s alliance. Odom has previously said in public that he specifically regrets repeated betrayal.
